May 20, 2010 - Darland Construction Co. received an Award of Commendation from the National Safety Council, Greater Omaha Chapter, and has been named one of the 2010 Greater Omaha’s Safest Companies. The award is for outstanding safety and health programs, results and achievements.
Companies who qualify for the National Safety Council’s awards recognition, have implemented an injury and illness prevention program, a safety committee, employee training and other safety initiatives designed for the unique needs of their organizations. Through their hard work, these companies have achieved incident rates and lost workday case rates that are better than their industry average. They have found through reduced injuries and illness, they have improved employee relations and improved productivity.
