For the seventh time in 10 years, Ford Storage & Moving Co has called on Darland Construction to design-build a warehouse building.

The project will consist of a 120,000 SF building situated on 12 acres of land in the Hilltop Industrial Park just south of Omaha in Sarpy County, Nebraska. While the primary use of the building will be warehousing, there will also be two floors of office space totaling 16,000 SF. The building will be constructed of precast concrete walls, 28’ clear height and an ESFR sprinkler system. Aside from the building, the facility will also accommodate outside storage for up to 70 trailers.

Construction is scheduled to start in Spring 2008, with an expected completion date in early September, 2008. Upon completion of this project, Ford Storage intends to relocate their corporate offices from their current location at 78th & L Street in Omaha to this new facility.
