Due to Darland’s commitment to deliver to its clients and a strong relationship, Ford Storage & Moving Co. chose Darland to design-build a project for them for the seventh time in 10 years.  The office/warehouse is situated on 12 acres of land in Hilltop Industrial Park in Sarpy County south of the Omaha metro area.

The facility’s primary use is warehousing along with accommodating outside storage for up to 70 semi trailers.  The building includes 8,000 square feet of office, plus a mezzanine above to accommodate future office expansion.  It also ha an 8,000 square foot truck repair shop for Ford's delivery trucks.  The building was constructed with a pre-engineered steel system, precast concrete walls, 28’ clear height and an ESFR sprinkler system.  The warehouse has a modern, energy efficient lighting system designed with motion sensors that provide light only in areas being utilized.  In addition, the warehouse heating is provided by two energy efficient, direct-fired air handling units that also pressurize the building and ensure minimal stratification of air temperature.
