Shopko Stores, Inc.'s continued expansion in the Midwest region relied on building this facility under severe time and budget restraints. Having completed several projects for Shopko, Darland and Carter & Burgess teamed together on this mega warehouse project. The original project was 410,000 SF and included a 90,000 SF mezzanine area. 

In 2004, Darland completed a 138,000 SF addition to the building and an additional 118,000 SF of mezzanine. The building features 146 dock doors, 42’ clear height and is surrounded by over one million square feet of exterior paving.
