Construction is underway on Slick City Action Park’s first Nebraska location in La Vista, part of a 32-acre mixed-use development northwest of Westport Parkway and West Giles Road.
The 41,000-square-foot facility will bring Slick City’s indoor slides, air courts and other attractions to the Omaha metro, with five air courts, multiple slides, party rooms, a kitchen and dedicated areas for younger visitors. The climate-controlled facility is designed for year-round use and is currently slated to open in Summer 2027.
Despite nearly 14 inches of rain in September, crews continued making progress on the site, including the installation of geopiers. The project remains on schedule.
The exterior will feature precast concrete panels, masonry, custom art panels and ample parking. Inside, the facility will include polished concrete floors along with the slides, air courts and spaces designed for parties and group events.
Slick City Action Park launched in 2022 and currently has 55 locations open, with 23 additional locations in development. The company is co-headquartered in St. Louis and Nashville.
