Millard Public Schools Foundation Early Childhood Education Center

Millard Public Schools Foundation in Omaha chose Darland over several other local builders to manage the building process for their first Early Childhood Education Center.  Darland’s great reputation and pricing structure played a key role in the awarding of the project.

Involved from the very beginning, Darland worked to create the multi-use building, located near 156th & Q Streets in the Millard School District. The facility features a preschool, full-time childcare center, expanded after-school program, along with housing the Foundation’s administrative offices. Additional features of the project include two on-site playgrounds.

Darland’s construction knowledge helped the Foundation both with design and mechanical decisions specifically when looking at cost considerations. Building a child development facility requires adherence to local and state codes and requirements. Darland was very thorough in overseeing this process to meet all qualifications.  Weekly meetings at the site allowed the Foundation to feel comfortable in knowing the project status.
