About the Project
Darland completed Love’s Travel Stop in Valley, Nebraska. The full-service facility for truck drivers and motorists opened in January 2016 and includes a convenience store, showers, parking, a canopied fuel pump area, CAT scales, and a Subway Restaurant.
The project began in April 2015 and required extensive site improvements. Darland successfully raised the grade, widened the highway, added a box culvert extension and dewatered the site to ensure it was suitable for construction. The project also called for a large temporary power source.
In addition to Valley location, Darland was selected to build Love’s Travel Stop locations in Syracuse, Nebraska and Belleville, Kansas.
Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is headquartered in Oklahoma City and operates more than 400 locations across 40 states.
